SINGAPORE – April 22, 2020 – Molex has been named a winner in the CEM Editor’s Choice Awards. The prestigious China Electronic Market (CEM) Awards recognizes products in several categories, and Molex was recognized in “The Most Competitive Power Device in China” category, for its EXTreme Ten60Power connectors. This win continues a solid run of success by Molex, now an eight-time winner since the CEM awards began, with consecutive wins over the past five years.
According to CEM, the competition for the 2019 Editor’s Choice Awards was intense. The members of the judging
panel worked hard to determine the best products based on three criteria: brand influence, market share and technological innovation. After two months of intensive research, during challenging times, 17 products from 14 companies were selected for the awards in 10 different categories.
“At Molex we are pleased to see this innovative product line recognized by the CEM Editor’s Awards,” said Ken Stead, director of power products, Molex. “These EXTreme Ten60Power modular solutions provide our customers with all the convenience of a “configure-your-own-connector” approach, respecting space constraints while maintaining very high levels of power and signal integrity. They meet today’s need for versatile connectivity at high power levels across the consumer, data-center, telecoms and other sectors.”
Molex created the EXTreme Ten60Power Hybrid Power-and-Signal Connectors and Harness Solutions to provide greater design flexibility in power connector assemblies across a wide range of power and signal requirements, orientations and applications. Customers often have a difficult time finding readily available, yet configurable, connectors that meet specific power and signal requirements, while space and budget constraints prevent them from buying a connector that provides more power and more signal than they need. The EXTreme Ten60Power Hybrid Power-and-Signal Connectors offer standard modular parts that enable customers to purchase a connector that exactly meets their power and signal needs without paying for excess contacts or tooling. Notably, they allow high-current power customers to meet their specific power requirements as closely as possible.
Designed for board-to-board, wire-to-board and panel-to-board applications, the EXTreme Ten60Power Hybrid Power-and-Signal solutions provide up to 260.0A per linear inch, fast response times and easy-to-configure modules. Customers simply enter information into the EXTreme Ten60Power Custom Configurator and 3D models and/or sales drawings will be sent within a few business days.
